Yin & Tonic

Yin & Tonic Monday Evenings | Worcester | £144 for the full programme

Something new is coming…

Over years of working with women experiencing stress, overwhelm and burnout, one thing has become very clear: we can't think our way out of overwhelm — the body must feel safe before our minds can ease.

Most of us spend our days constantly in our heads; thinking, planning, worrying, running through to-do lists. The result? We end up living always slightly ahead of ourselves. And over time, the body carries that load too.

You might notice it as:

  • Tightness in your neck & shoulders

  • Stiffness or tension in your hips, chest or jaw

  • Aches and niggles that don't fully go away

  • Always feeling tired, even after rest

  • Never feeling fully present in life's joyful moments

What's Included in Yin & Tonic

Why Join Us?

This is more than a yoga class. It's an invitation to slow down, reconnect with yourself and reignite the parts of you that may have been quietly sidelined by busy lives and full diaries.

Led by a qualified, experienced Psychologist, we blend evidence-based psychology with somatic movement and just enough space to gently stretch you. You won't just feel good on the night, you'll leave with practical tools, deeper insight and renewed clarity you can take back into real life.

"This isn't an escape from life, it's a reset for how you live it."

How does it work?

The Yin Part…

Yin yoga works with the deeper tissues of the body — often where we hold chronic tension and stress. By applying subtle pressure to areas where we tend to hold emotions (hips, neck, shoulders), it softens tightness and encourages the body to release built-up tension. Think of it as a gentle form of acupressure. This is why many people report feeling either deeply relaxed or energised after a Yin session.

Combined with simple somatic and grounding practices, this helps signal safety to the nervous system and allows the body to move out of doing mode into a more restorative state.

Many people notice:

  • Reduced tension and increased flexibility over time

  • Improved sleep

  • A calmer mind

  • Emotional release (yawning, sighing, or even tears)

  • Feeling more grounded and present

The Tonic Part…

Following Yin each week, you'll be guided through gentle but powerful psychological practices to use throughout your week.

Not therapy. Not heavy. Just practical ways to:

  • Understand your stress patterns

  • Unhook from overwhelm

  • Build healthier daily habits

  • Reconnect with what matters to you

  • Feel more grounded and present

Each session also includes a monthly Yoga Nidra practice for deep relaxation. And you'll receive your Women & Wild journal to work with throughout the programme.

Who this is for

Women who feel:

  • Constantly busy and unable to fully switch off

  • Functioning well but mentally overloaded

  • Tired but wired

  • Pulled in lots of directions, prioritising others over themselves

  • In need of a dedicated weekly space to breathe again

Prior yoga experience is not necessary. You don't need to be flexible or "good" at yoga, you just need to show up.

It's not designed for those in crisis or working through complex trauma — although if that's something you're navigating, you're always welcome to reach out to Kate separately.

Ready to join us?

I'm opening Yin & Tonic to a small founding group first. If this space sounds like something your body is quietly asking for, drop me a message to find out more or to reserve your place.
